Tamala Jones

'Two Can Play That Game', 'Daddy Day Camp' and 'Up In The Air'. TV shows she has appeared in include 'Everybody Hates Chris', 'Castle' and 'CSI: Miami'. Tamala played a hair stylist in 'Nora's Hair Salon', a movie about an African American woman who runs a salon in Los Angeles. She was voted as one of "The 10 Sexiest Women of the Year" in 2000 and 2001 by "Black Men Magazine".

Meagan has 'Good Hair'

Featured artist today is actress Meagan Good, another black Goddess who just loves her hair extensions. Born in California, Meagan is of mixed descent, with grandparents who were Jewish/African, Cherokee native American. Puerto Rican/African American and Barbadian. She started her acting career at the age of about four and appeared in a number of US TV shows and movies in her teens. Major roles followed in films such as 'D.E.B.S' 'Venom', 'Roll Bounce', 'Waist Deep', and the dance movie 'Stomp The Yard'. Her most recent role was in 'The Unborn' with Gary Oldman and Odette Yustman. She also appeared as herself in 'Good Hair', the 2009 documentary comedy film about African American women's hair made by Chris Rock, and in numerous music videos.

Kerry Washington

Featured artist on the blog today is New York born actress Kerry Washington - another African American goddess who loves her hair extensions. Kerry's best known acting roles include Della Bea Robinson, wife of Ray Charles in 'Ray', Kay Amin, wife of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in 'The Last King of Scotland', and Alicia Masters in two 'Fantastic Four' movies.
